Realtor Sam McDadi just made headlines by selling the highest-priced home in Mississauga, Ont.’s history, setting a new record. This property is also the most expensive house sold on MLS in the Greater Toronto Area this year.

The Doulton Avenue estate known as Saint George Mansion was listed for sale for approximately four months with Sam McDadi Real Estate and co-listing agent Victor Brewda of Forest Hill Real Estate.

The mansion, spanning almost 26,000 square feet, was initially listed at $25 million, then reduced to $22 million and finally sold at $20 million, attracting significant interest with seven or eight showings, a remarkable number for properties in this price range, according to McDadi.

Closing the deal: Balancing price with timing

The property was eventually sold for $17.1 million about two weeks later. For the owners, it was a decision between money and time. “The owner was eager to close a deal,” McDadi explains.

The property was initially listed five years ago at $50 million, although McDadi was not the listing agent at that time.

A strategic marketing plan for a unique property

McDadi implemented a comprehensive marketing strategy, reaching out to his client base and leveraging social media to generate interest in the property. He engaged with influencers and created various marketing materials, including photo shoots and video tours.

A rare match between buyer and seller

McDadi received two offers for the property, one from a local buyer and another from his client, a successful businessman familiar with the area.

The mansion, designed by architect Ferris Rafauli, boasts luxurious amenities and exquisite details, making it a truly unique and valuable property.

A motto for success: Every client counts

With a focus on providing exceptional service to clients of all kinds, McDadi’s success in the real estate industry has been remarkable. His brokerage, Team McDadi, has achieved significant milestones over the years, demonstrating their commitment to every client, no matter the size of the transaction.
