Laurie Gagnier is trekking solo in the wilderness, carrying all her essentials in a 35-pound backpack while hiking the challenging Appalachian Trail to raise funds for The Children’s Miracle Network (CMN).
A 54-year-old mother, grandmother, and Realtor, Gagnier embarked on this six-month journey from Georgia to Maine on Feb. 1.
