The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) has announced the launch of the Canadian Realtors Care Award 2025. This award recognizes the significant contributions of realtors nationwide who dedicate their time and effort to charitable causes.
Nominations are now open to honor a realtor who has made a positive impact in their community. The recipient of this year’s award will be revealed at CREA’s Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
10th anniversary of the award
In celebration of the award’s 10th anniversary, the recipient will receive a $10,000 donation to the charity of their choice in their name.
Latest recipient and past nominees
Since 2016, 10 realtors from five provinces have been honored with this award, including the 2024 recipient, Kelly Byers from Woodstock, Ontario.
Byers expressed her gratitude, stating, “It feels great to make a difference in our community and help those in need. It’s inspiring to see so many realtors stepping up year after year.”
The award has also shed light on the charitable efforts of realtors across Canada. Past nominees include Crystal Hung from Vancouver and Chris Dunlop from Toronto.
