KW appoints new CEO and unveils significant investment

Keller Williams has recently sold an investment stake to private equity firm Stone Point Capital with the aim of accelerating long-term growth, as stated in a press release from the company.

Gary Keller, co-founder and executive chairman of Keller Williams, expressed excitement about this milestone, stating, “We’ve established a strong foundation, and with a focus on the personal development and sales growth of each agent, we welcome the partnership and support from Stone Point Capital.”

Keller also mentioned, “Through their commitment, we will be exploring new avenues to ensure that top agents and franchisees, who are instrumental in driving our business growth, can participate in its future success.”

Although the financial details of the deal have not been disclosed, Stone Point Capital has a proven track record of partnering with successful businesses in the industry to facilitate their growth, managing over USD $55 billion in assets, including companies such as Lone Wolf Technologies and CoreLogic.

As part of this transition, Christopher Czarnecki has been appointed as CEO and president, bringing over 20 years of experience in real estate and business leadership. KW’s new CEO highlighted, “The partnership with Stone Point aims at success, empowering us to innovate, expand, and deliver even more value to franchisees, agents, and clients.”

Czarnecki, with two decades of real estate expertise, previously served as the CEO of Broadstone Net Lease, a real estate investment trust, leading the company through its IPO.

Gary Keller affirmed his commitment to the company, stating, “I’m enthusiastic about the future and eager to embark on the most prolific phase of my 48-year real estate career, focusing on writing, teaching, and coaching. I have deep affection for this company and have no plans of leaving.”
